World Toilet information - Now this is an essential site if you are thinking of sampling the delights of world wide bogs. Not to be taken lightly when visiting some far off place where the lack of toilet knowledge can lead to severe shock when faced by a total alien piece of ceramics.

Glossop Police Football Club - This is a new website from one of our custodians of the law. When they're not copping you with a speed gun for doing two mile an hour over the limit or having a back light out this is how they spend their time.  Joking apart officer, this is a first attempt by the webmaster so I look forward to viewing the site in the coming months. I especially like the Podmore Prize....

World Cup Years - This is the best site I have found for simply getting information about the biggest Sporting Contest on Earth. Unlike our Cousins across the Atlantic we call the game Football because the main part of the body used to propel the ball is your foot. The whole of the planet will be watching this years contest in Germany and with a little bit of luck England will progress to the latter stages and rightfully regain our standing in the International rankings.

Pylons Ever wanted to know how an L2 differs from an L12?  Prior to 1928, there were no standard tower designs at all. The then Central Electricity Board sought to introduce a standard design for the National Grid which was planned at that time. The final design was chosen by Sir Reginald Blomfield (a leading architect of the day) and was based on a submission by Milliken Brothers and much later designated PL1 and PL1b. Almost any single-circuit 132kV tower you have ever seen will be PL1b. Relatively few double circuit ones survive. If that impresses you you are sadder than anyone can ever believe - great site though

The MLS - Yes it's Major League Soccer from the USA and more abbreviations than you have ever seen before. If you want to read about "Soccer" the other side of the pond then give this site the twice over. There's loads of content and the site is very slick, the reports are incredibly detailed and full of stats. Check on the wonder kid, Freddie Ado and all the teams, you can even sign up for the daily newsletter "90 Minutes" for a daily dose of "Soccer" US style. You can also download wallpapers or watch the Pepsi Goal of the week or video's on Mul tie media.....

New Mills the town where I live is famous for two things, one is the New Mills Vets 5 a side footballers and the other is Swizzels Matlow who employ a good proportion of the town (the ones who choose to work). Love hearts are only one of the many tooth rotting products they offer the nation. Visit this site and enter the monthly competition or simply check out Britain's premier sweet producer. They also sponsor the local New Mills Junior football teams.

Will you make it into the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest man (or woman) on earth? Or is this your final year on the planet? Find out if your days are numbered by taking the Death Test, I did and it was forecast my end would come on January 13, 2026 at the age of 79 years old. Mmm   Now updated to include many more tests such as stress, greed, lazy gender and lots more.

This is a really novel site. There is a lot of Dr Gloom in most football fans, especially me. How often have your team just walloped the opposition only for you to chirp in with "I bet they get turned over next week, it'll be just like them!" Well read on, the doc has it all covered.

Old Lloyd is an inspiration to any of us fella's who dread becoming a victim of Prostate Cancer. Read the  light-hearted journal about his diagnosis and treatment for his illness. There's much humour to be gleaned from this guy who refuses to let this illness ruin his life.
I checked out Bob (Old Lloyd) [June 05] and he is fighting fit

Did you ever gaze up at Jesus hanging there on his cross half naked looking thoroughly miserable and wondered, what if I had the chance to dress him.  Tasteless, oh yes, but hilarious. Dress Jesus up in something rather more fashionable than a loin cloth. Someone is going to roast in Hell for this...  if you need further evidence that Gods son was crucified then I suggest you take a trip to this site where ample pictorial proof is posted  http://web.tiscali.it/mojo_alcantara/galleria.htm

Try out this stunning Flash Graphics site by the brilliant German web designer, Jermai. You have to be patient with the pages as download time isn't the speediest you will ever encounter, but the stunning effects achieved are well worth the wait.  Just play around with the various screens and you will soon get the hang of it.  The example left is reached by clicking the Dance link on the second menu screen.  Best viewed in 1024 - 768 resolution.  Recently revamped
